Topic: Font subset

Hi PDF GURUs,

I am currently doing the font subset. Leonard (the PDF Guru) once told me that I should read the font file and put all the bytes into the font structure as describe in TrueType documentation (Refer to Microsoft TrueType Font reference 1.0).

I am half way finishing the job and I still not able to see how to subset the font. (It is a very time consuming job because for each table, I need to test to make sure everything is working.)

Say that I need to only embedded the font for character "A", "B", and "C". How can I do that?

Any help given by PDF GURUs will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance...

Cheers :)
