Hello, I have a client that is asking me if I can offer this application:

-several hundred pdf files are sent to me each month.

-each pdf is a monthly invoice for 1 customer.

-they want the pdf's put on to a cd and they want a front end to search the pdf's.

-search options will be by customer# or customer name.

-the customer# and name are found in the name of the pdf files (123_John Sample.pdf)

-They want a windows front end to run off the CD that allows you to type in a cusomer# or customer name to search for. When found it displays the pdf.

-The front end must require a name and password to start up.

-The PDF's should be encrypted/archived somehow so that no one can directly access the PDF's on CD without logging in to the front end.


Can anyone recommend a solution? Or a service bureu that can create this application for me quickly?

(the next phase will also require us to accept Postscript files in addition to PDF)
