Hi all,

I'm pretty new to this, so here's my first (and hopefully last) problem. ;)

I'm trying to embed a PDF file into an HTML web page. This is the code for the embed statement:
<OBJECT name='pdf' id='pdf' CLASSID='clsid:CA8A9780-280D-11CF-A24D-444553540000' WIDTH=450 HEIGHT=450> <PARAM NAME='SRC' VALUE='myfile.pdf'> <EMBED SRC='myfile.pdf' HEIGHT=450 WIDTH=450> <NOEMBED> Your browser does not support embedded PDF files. </NOEMBED> </EMBED></OBJECT>

So far so good.
No I want to open the print dialog when the page loads, so I added onload______="javascript:document.pdf.PrintWithDialog()" to the body tag.

When I open the HTML-file locally using e.g. file://c:\printit.html everything works fine.

I upload the page and the PDF to the web server, the file is embedded correctly but the print dialog does not show...

When I replace this:

with this:

It works again....

Anyone has any ideas, what might cause this behaviour?
Nevermind. ;) My fault. You should check your spelling before asking for a solution in a forum.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
