I was just going through the menus in Acrobat(full)6.0.
I found an intresting menu called 'preflight'
in documents->preflight opton.
it showed various options like edit,anlyse,etc.I was surprised to see that
it gives all detailed data like objects,coordinates evry thing pertaining to
my opened pdf doc.
So much of info for which we need to write codes in VB,Vc++ etc..
My question is what is it all about that preflight menu?
what help can we developers(VC++ in perticular) draw from this option..?
One more thing..
what is that PDF/X-1a ?
it checks whether a pdf document is
a valid PDF/x-1a or not..
I first checked my sample pdf file..result ->
not a valid PDF/x-1a. OK
Then i verified with the Adobe sdk 6.0 pdf files. Same results..
Even the files provided by Adobe itself are not a valid PDF/X-1a.
So whats it all about?
Thanx and Regards,
