We have a customer who has marked up a PDF using the "strike through" comment tool and also the "notes" tool, using Acrobat 6.

When viewed on a PC, we require to view only the NOTES tool comments, but have found that using the "show by type" menu does not work. On further investigation, even the "hide all comments" instruction fails to remove the comments from view.

Any comments added to this PDF by OUR PEOPLE can be turned on and off. It seems it is just the comments made by the customer that refuse to disappear.

We can do all that we need to with regard the above when using the Macintosh but not on a Windows machine
