What version(s) of Acrobat/Reader do you expect your
customers to have?
What font(s) are used in the document?

MANY solutions, but without knowing more about the document,
the use of that document, etc. they will all be general purpose
recommendations and not specific ones.
However, you should certainly be looking at PDF
reduction/compression techniques such as Acrobat's own PDF Optimizer
or 3rd party tools such as PDF Enhancer from Apago.
