I'm combining multiple sources (MS Word, tiff, pdf, web pages) into a single document. The first page of each pagegroup will be portrait layout, single document/image; all the rest of the pages will be landscape layout with two documents/images side by side. What's the easiest way to create this document?

In the past we've saved the pdf files as tiffs, inserted them into 2-column landscape Word docs, and saved the word docs as pdfs. There's got to be a simpler way to create these side by side layouts. We're using Acrobat 7.
