Hi To You All:
I have searched the internet for the past 6 months for a plug-in that is needed for the direct mail/printing industry that doesn't now exist. How many of you are actual printers? You know, actual printing presses that marry up variable image copy to preprint? I bet you all go through the same steps I take to find font and size through Acrobat attributes, Right? Well, it's too time consuming spending 15 minutes to 30 minutes per job. I am searching for a plug-in that would allow me to select various portions of variable data in an acrobat file, and once selected, would create a box to the right with the specific font and size attributes listed within. Why? To spend less than 2 minutes finding this information out would be most help and time and cost effective for our clients. It seems like a natural progression that something would already be developed. But it's not. Let me know what you all think. The nice thing about the internet, is our ability to come together and make this work world a better place for all. And isn't that why we really got involved with computers and such in the firstplace? Thanks. IndianaBob
