I'm using the US Postal Service's online Click N Ship program, to create package mailing labels. It uses Acrobat Reader as its printing application, a poor choice I think, as Acrobat was never designed as a label printer. The previous, more feature-rich program for business users has been discontinued. I actually don't want to print address labels, because this program only prints full pages, so you have to use expensive whole page self-adhesive labels, half of which is wasted by information I don't want and that doesn't adhere to anything. What I want to do is print only the delivery confirmation barcode, a very small part of the page. I'm wondering if there's a PDF tool I can use to get rid of the 7/8 of the label that I don't want, and arrange the barcode labels 8-up or so on a page. The tool would have to pretend to be a printer, I guess, because all I can do with Click N Ship is print. Any suggestions? Thanks.
