I'm trying to figure out how to take HTML web form data a user enters and populate a PDF that is then emailed back to me. Problem is that I have limited coding knowledge and limited time.
The form has already been designed and currently emails the data in a simple text format using the free FormMail script. That was easy. Ideally I could utilize the existing form and just point it at a PDF converter/emailer tool that resides on the server, which would place the form data in the appropriate fields of a PDF template and send it off to the email I specify. The email needs to have the PDF attached to it.
I found an article that is similar (http://www.planetpdf.com/developer/article.asp?ContentID=6220) but I don't want to start with a PDF. Could anyone point me in the right direction? I can work with example code that requires modification, but starting from scratch is beyond me.
I have no problem purchasing a software package as long as the setup outlined above is very intuitive, and requires limited ASP, ColdFusion, etc. knowledge.
