I am attempting to complete a project using IE v6.0 and Acrobat Reader 7.0.5. The site consists of 3 frames; frame 1 consists of links, frame 2 consists of still images, and frame 3 will contain the PDFs, I was successful in linking PDFs to a target frame within the IE browser but was not successful in having it link to a particular page within the PDF file. I used the format, as suggested href="sample.pdf#page=pagenumber" and it would either open up on the first or the last page of the file. Any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong?
Also I installed Acrobat 6.0 Professional which also installed Distiller 6.0. After that, the PDFs now open up in a new browser instead of the targeted frames! And still do not point to the correct page. What can I do to make this work as needed?
