Hello,

I have tagged PDFs and I was wondering if anyone knows of a tool to "rename" tags in tagged PDFs, i.e. change their "Type".

E.g. I have a tag tree like this one (using [] here as tag brackets due to the forum):

[Tags]
.[_Section]
..[_Heading_1]
...[_Body]

and want to change it to:

[Tags]
.[Sect]
..[H1]
...[P]

Of course I can rename the tags one by one. However this results in heavy work on big tag trees. Is there any more easy way to change the type for all tags of a specific type? Search and Replace in the PDF source code in a plain or hex editor is actually not what I want.
Besides, if I select more than one tag and change the tag type only the first of the selected tags is changed. Any better way to do this?
