Hello all,
I have been reading here for a while and have my first problem post. This post could also go in the print forum section but figured I would get a better response here...

I am working on windows XP Pro with all the latest updates and using Acrobat Pro version 6 and/or acrobat reader(free) version 7.

I am getting AutoCAD drawings from my engineering company in pdf form and when I print to a PCL printer I get black boxes in place of images, or I get horizontal lines when printing with other printer types...
I have searched on the net and forums and it seems like the black box issue is solved by turning on the check box in preferences labeled "smooth images" and "smooth line art"

But I havn't found an answer to getting rid of the gray horizontal lines...

Can someone help me?
