I am not a computer expert, so don't always understand the terminology, but have been using PageMaker 6.5 for more than 10 years. Every month I send out a newsletter in a PDF format. The last few months I have had problems, but by changing the folder the file is in and other odd workarounds, I have been able to export the files. However, now I get an error message no matter what I do, and the program crashes. I click Export/Distill Now/View PDF using AcroRd 32 (the odd thing is that it shows the distilled location as the E drive, which on my computer is the CD drive, and there seems to be no way to change it) and as soon as I click Save, I get an error box saying the program has encountered a problem and needs to close. The error report contains nothing that I can understand. Also, when I select PDF Options, the program crashes. I've reinstalled PageMaker but the same thing happens with the reinstalled version. The only change with my computer since the last time I exported to PDF is a new printer, can't imagine that would have anything to do with it. Any ideas? I'm going to have to send everything snail mail!
