When I apply a text watermark in Acrobat 7.0 (visible for printing only) any text on the page that has any background color behind it (both the light page background image or light fills in table rows) distorts - the text type gets bolder and looks like it has been smudged. This distortion is in the screen display (the doc is designed for screen display) and worst on Windows PC. On the Mac it is barely noticeable.
Anybody have a clue about this?
I have done this before, with a similar layout, and had no problem.
