I own a Fujitsu ScanSnap fi-5110EOXM (Apple Macintosh model). When I
scan documents I get .pdf files that aren't searchable with Spotlight. With
my other scanner, a Canoscan 8400F, Spotlight looks into produced pdf
files in a snap.
I need to scan a lot of documents and would like them to be text-
searchable. I am not interested in OCR. As you understand I am an
absolute beginner on this matter.
Is there a simple way to produce text-searchable .pdf while scanning
documents with the ScanSnap or can I easily convert the pdf files into text-
searchable ones? Which software do you suggest?
