Very basic Acrobat user here.... I have created a multi-page form that will be used by our Sales group -- each of 12 pages contains photos and product descriptions and 12 text fields where they will enter region-specific and product-specific prices. This form will be e-mailed to customers. Because our Salesmen are novices on the computer and especially in Acrobat, I want to set it up so that a password is required to edit the fields, and I want the document automatically locked back down from editing once the guys are done entering the new prices (i.e. on Save or on Close). The password required to make form changes also serves to prevent customers from changing prices.
All the field names contain the word "price" in addition to unique characters identifying the field.
I know it probably doesn't sound like much to intermediate or advanced users, but I don't want the guys to have to remember how to get to Acrobat's Security settings, how to remove them, and how to re-set them once they are done.
Any help is most appreciated! Better suggestions for this purpose are welcome, too.
