Topic: Digital Signatures - Alert Object label badly formatted

Adobe 5.0 When saving an imported or scanned into Adobe 5, I get a pop up window labeled "Digital Signatures - Alert" and with error message, "Object label badly formatted.".

I have uninstalled and reinstalled so many times I have my serial number committed to memory. During installation, I regularly receive an error regarding a prior installation and I am advised to restart. Restarting or not makes no difference as I receive the same message every time. I don't know if this is related to the above problem or not.

After receiving the error, I have to close the document. I can then reopen the saved document and all appears okay. That is until I sent the document to another Adobe user. The document will not print and is generally blown up to a very large scale.

I previously had Adobe 6 installed but found it much slower than Adobe 5.

Before installing the last time, I cleared every reference of "adobe", "acrobat" and "pdf" from my registry.

The only Adobe program listed in my "add/remove programs" is the active version of Adobe 5.

Thanks in advance for you input.
