Topic: Font sizes in PDF generated from HTML

Hi All,

[Note: this post also appears in P-PDF Beginners. I wasn't sure where it
belonged.]

I have about 40 HTML files that were all created using the same
template, meaning that they are almost identical in structure and
content. In fact, the first 50 lines or so differ by a few characters in only
3-4 places.

When viewed from my browser, the HTML files look identical in font
typeface and size, layout, etc. However, when I do "Print Preview" or
"Save as PDF..." and look at the PDF that is generated, the font sizes on
some are big and some ridiculously small. Yet, they all use the same
stylesheet (specifically for printing) and are almost identical.

Even if I remove the use of stylesheets, some HTML appears in PDF
format with giant font size, and some with small.

I need to identify the root cause of this. Similar post is included below (I
couldn't find any replies to it). Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm using Safari on Mac OS X 10.4.4.

Thanks,
AG

Hi All,

I created a PDF book from some HTML pages using the Batch Sequence
'ConvertHTMLToPDF' that i got from this link 'http://www.planetpdf.com/
mainpage.asp?webpageid=1940'.

The conversion went fine, but in the PDF files i generated, i am getting
different font size for different pages even though i am using the same
font and font size throughout the base HTML files(Veranda,2).I re
checked the HTML source but couldn't find any difference in the HTML
files, but the PDF files generated for these HTML's are having different
font size. Have any of you faced such a problem ?.

Any help,pointers is highly appreciated.
Thanks
JD.
