Is there a way to force Reader 7 to print the stamps on the pdf being viewed? I have PDFs of documents created with Acrobat 6. After the document is created, a stamp is added to the PDF with Acrobat 7. When the PDF is printed with Reader 7, the stamp will not print unless Reader is set to print "Document and comments." one of three print choices. Is there a way to modify the PDF via Acrobat, a third party program, or other method that will force Reader 7 to print "Documents and comments" by default? Changing the settings on all the Reader 7 installations that may view the PDFs is not possible. Relying on the users the set Reader 7 to print "documents and comments" has not been successful.

This was once posted in 2004 without any suggestion by another board member. I have the same problem in 2006.

Thanks for the recommendations and suggestions.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
