Goal: I need to have users complete a PDF forms and email it to me.

Restrictions: Same old story but it's true. I don't have resources to develop solution. Therefore, I'm trying to come up with a relatively inexpensive idea that I can implement.

Idea: My thought was that I could add fields to my existing PDF file to capture the data I need. (Completed). Now I'm trying to find anyway to automate the emailing process for my end users. (the less the user has to think the more reliable the process will be :-) )

I have some Java script activated by a button on my form that will 1) save the form and user data into a PDF or FDF file, 2) call the user's default email program listed in IE (I'm 98% that it comes from IE), 3) pre-fill in the "To:" address field and 4) attach the file to the the message.

What I can't seem to figure out is how to have the message actually get sent without the user having to click send. I also can't guarantee that the user's IE setting will actually be set to the correct default email program.

I would appreciate anyones ideas on over coming the hurdles I have left or hearing about a better way over all.

Thanks
