okay. I have the Paper Capture plug in and a couple of test files that I scanned and emailed to myself in PDF image format. When I try to use paper capture on all, a couple or even a single page I get the error message:

"Recognition server could not process pages. This could be due to existing errors in the document or limitations of the paper capture functionality."

I then down loaded an adobe PDF manual on converting files, I used paper capture with that and it recognizes the text and the graphics BUT not one work comes up in search.

I have massive amounts of files I need to convert and I'm a bit stuck now.
If this process will not work for what I need to do are there any suggestions as to what program I should be using.
Also- If I find a scanner that has an OCR option could that make the process easier?
