AutoCAD 2007 has plot to PDF option..you can get fairly good pdf out of your dwg files. I am not sure of intelligence one the objects though.

Another good option is to plot them to DWF(Design Web Format) file. It can carry almost all kinds of intelligence on the objects as far as i know. Again, PLOT command in ACAD will allow you to plot them to dwf.
