Hi,



I have been working on a project that creates pdf's for
customers. I am using fdfmerge to create my pdf files. My problem
started last week on Friday. I started receiving reports from clients
receiving this error: 'filename.pdf' is an unknown PDF.Reval=1. I was
wondering if you could point me in the right direction on why this error
will start showing up. Reader 7.0 opens the pdf file just fine. Reader
6.0 displays this error for certain people not everyone.



Here are more details you should know.

The pdf files are encrypted using: FileOpenWebPublisher encryptor

All customers receiving this error have downloaded the latest fileopen
plugin.

If I email the pdf to the customer they are ok. The file opens
perfectly.

The error only occurs when the customer tries to open the file using
their web browser.

Any help will be appreciated.
