I am creating PDFs that are primarily scanned images. I can optimize them in both size & quality. If I have scanned at 300 dpi I have created a large pixel image.
Optimizing for web.
When optimizing for web should I first change the image size to considerably smaller - perhaps the width of a web page ... then the compression (quality).
If the PDF could be printed should I just optimize for quality and keep the size?
