Hi forum,

all files downloaded from the online file inspection at the European Patent Office are defective. They know about it since like years but can't find out what causes the problem (no comment on that...)

The (bitmap based) files can be opened and displayed, but not edited in any way although not being encrypted or protected.

Only after running Paper Capture over them, the files become normally editable - although Paper Capture can't deskew the pages either...

Well, maybe someone can have a look at the attached sample and make a guess what is wrong with these documents,
