Topic: Using Indexes in Adobe Reader

Hello,
I am new to this forum. I have searched for an answer to my problem without finding it, so please forgive me if you have answered it many times before.
I have created an index to a large PDF file. I wish to use it on an auto run CD. If I run the PDX file I get a blank screen with the search box on one side. If I run the PDF file I get the first page of the document and then the user has to select an index to do a search.
The question is: Is it possible to bring up a nominated page (say page 1) and the search box with the index already selected? I am using Acrobat 6 to create the files but the CD will use Adobe Reader.
Thank you in advance.
