Topic: Can I use symbols in JS?

Hello and thank you in advance ~ I am creating a form with a combo box that populates several fields. I think that I can get that to work; however, I would like the choices in the dropdown menu to contain a “-“ such as TC-9. When I use the Java Script editor to create the array it does not like the dash. I would also like to populate the array with dimensions that include the symbols for feet ‘ and inches “ again this disrupts the syntax of the array. Can someone help me work this out so that I can enter or at least have the value returned use the correct symbols? Please keep in mind that I don’t understand much about Java Script, I am modifying an array I found. Thank you.
