Hello, I have a question and I really hope I'll get the answer here,
since it's quite acute. I'm participating in a research project,
as a programmer, and my job is to convert MS-Word questionnaires
into PDF files and add the input fields. The reason we're using the PDF
technology is because of the digital signing abilities, and the fact
that we need an image of the final input data for archiving purposes.
What I've made in the LiveCycle Designer is creating a button,
and choosing in the Control Type option "Submit". This point I have to
metion I'm actually a web programmer. I usally work in my other projects
with HTML, JavaScript and PHP technologies, but this project is special.
In any event, in the Submit sub-window of the Object window, I've typed
the URL of the PHP page, and choosen either Submit As PDF in one button,
or Submit As XDP in the other. Ofcourse, I've checked the Sign Submission
option. My first goal is uploading the filled PDF form into a directory
on the server, and my second goal is, when sending an XDP, splitting the
XML file from the PDF file, then uploading them both to a directory on
the server. As you well guest, I'm an ignorant, meaning I don't even know
how to handle what I'm recieving from the PDF form after submitting it.
A reference for some PHP examples would be extremely helpful.
I will be greatful if anyone might have dealt with this issue before
and is willing to help me here. A gift from Santa Claus is promissed.
Thanks in advance :)
