I created a batch processing sequence in Acrobat 6.0 to crop ad pages to eliminate white space. This should crop down to the border of the ads. I have this currently running on Acro 5.0 and it works beautifully. But when I change the custom settings in the 6.0 version to match the old batch processing settings they do not "stick". I go back in and they are set at default as if I was never there.
Here's what I'm doing, maybe you can spot something that I'm missing.
Go into the Acrobat menu Advanced > Batch Processing... Select my Cropping sequence and click Edit Sequence. Click Select Commands. Select Crop Pages on the right. Click the Edit... button at the bottom center. On this panel, I want to turn on Remove White Margins and then OK, OK, OK to save it.
But then when I run it no cropping occurs. Go back in and get to that window and the box is un-clicked. On the Acro 5.0 machine, that box is un-clicked but the margins are grayed out. If you click and un-click the box on the Acro 6.0 machine it looks the same as the setup on the old one. But OK out of the panel and come back in and the margins are back set to 0 inches.
It doesn't seem to want to save the settings.
I found the *.sequ file that is being created and tho it appears to be readable, I can't make heads nor tails of it. It's in C:\documents and settings\\Application data\Adobe\Acrobat\6.0\sequences\
