Hello,

This is my first post here. I'm a InDesign plugins developer and I have
basic knowledgment about pdf's.

This is my case:

Step1) I'm exporting a PDF directly from InDesign CS2. I will call it
fromInDesign.pdf.
Step2) I open fromInDesign.pdf with Acrobat 6 and save it as Postscript.
I will call the resulting file as psFromAcrobat.ps
Step3) I distill psFromAcrobat.ps using Distiller 6.0 and get a second pdf
file which I'll call fromDistiller.pdf

The problem is this: If I open the second pdf ('fromDistiller.pdf') with
Acrobat, select some text, copy it to clipboard, when I paste it to a text
editor I get just garbage characters. With the first pdf
('fromInDesign.pdf') the same procedure works fine.

Someone can explain me what is going on?
