Hi
I've remade a 2003 word doc in 2007 word from scratch.
When I save as pdf (using the office 2007 addin):
1 - Text, pie charts with borders and graphs with borders, images with borders (all non-default black colour) are all fine.
2 - However the tables lines/borders and the headings horizontal lines although all formatted to the weight I require, once pdf'd show up as different weights throughout the pdf'd document.
The new table lines/borders have colour other than the default black. If I make them black, the problem disappears. If I save a 2003 compatible doc as a pdf with word 2007 (the old doc version only used default black), the problem disappears.
If I use Acro 7 or 8 Pro - same problem with the 2007 doc version.
If I create the table from Excel, at least one side of the table is a heavier weight, even appearing as though it has a shadow.
If I print to another pdf printer, same problem.
The new doc version carries a colour scheme throughout so I need these lines coloured but to show at the required weight.
I have to use word to create the report for editing by non-technical people who can only use word.
I have to pdf them for uploading size and client ease of use.
Can anyone help tell me how to ensure the chart weight line is carried through in the conversion.
I've a backlog of reports to get out so this is really urgent.
Appreciate any help/advice.
Thanks, Liam
