I'm running Acrobat 4.0 and when I insert pages into an existing PDF, certain characters (&, q, M, etc.) disappear.
I converted the "main" document "A" (15 pages of text and images) from WORD and it is my boilerplate text that I use over and over again. The other document "B" (6-8 pages of text and images) is generated into PDF from an external program for each client. I insert "A" before page 2 of "B" and it still has all characters. Only when I save the combined document "C", then the new document "C" is missing a few letters (&, q, M, etc.) here and there from the original "A".
Of course Adobe tells me that this is no longer supported and it's driving me nuts. Anyone else seeing this or can fix it?
