Topic: Need help with converting scripts made in windows to mac

I have many acrobat documents that use application level java scripts which were originally created in windows.

The problem i have is a lot of these scripts use mapped network drives via logon scripts in a domain environment.

Is there a way i can apply the logon scripts in windows to the mac so i get the mapped networked drives on the mac automatically?

If not how do i replace my

var path = '/z/department/accounts/' + this.getfield("name").value +'.pdf. .....cpath: path

Z is the mapped networked which is always available, but on the mac you have first mount the shared directory before you are able to access the shared drives

Today, with the PDF losing ground in emerging areas like mobile and eBooks, the calls for its ultimate demise are growing louder.
