Topic: Word to PDF Underline Problem - Desperate

I am converting very large Word docs to pdf using Acrobat Pro 6.0. The Word docs have dates in them (not as text boxes) that read "August 7th", etc. In the Word docs the "th" becomes superscript and small, and the whole date is underlined.

When I convert to pdf for some reason the "August 7" part is underlined and then the "th" part gets it's own superscript underline. This looks very disjointed. How can I get the whole date underlined and not have the superscript underline? A friend of mine with a Mac did this and she didn't get the superscript underline, so I assume it is a setting of some sort.

I have all text box, thread and heading options unchecked, as they seemed to slow down the conversion with these big files.

Please please help. I am on a deadline and can't figure this out. Thank you very much for any help you can give.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
