I apologize in advance. I know how to functionally use Acrobat, and am quite computer literate, but I need a power user to answer a question before diving in head first into this project.

I am trying to create a mega document. I am a police officer in Indiana, and I would like to streamline our paperwork process.

For example, page one would be a probable cause affidavit. Based on a checkbox that the user would select (for example Robbery), The probable cause affidavit would be automatically filled in with the text required for that field, that would be stored in a seperate data field, or query.

Also, across all documents, the name/date of birth/social sec./ etc.. would be filled in when necessary.

So the original question. Is acrobat the proper platform to begin this project. I am totally willing to do the research and work on form until I get the product I need, I am just looking for someone who knows this platform in and out to tell me if Acrobat is capable of doing this.

Thanks in advance.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
