I am using VB .NET to get info on a tiff file using the code below, can a similar type of routine be called to get this info on a PDF doc? Thanks in advance for your help!

Public Function GetPageCountAndImageInfo(ByVal thisFile As String, ByRef Hdpi As Integer, ByRef Vdpi As Integer, ByRef PF As PixelFormat, ByRef CompressionFormat As String) As Integer
Dim iMulti As System.Drawing.Image
Dim intPageCount As Integer = 0
Dim f As System.Drawing.Imaging.FrameDimension

iMulti = System.Drawing.Image.FromFile(thisFile)
f = New System.Drawing.Imaging.FrameDimension(iMulti.FrameDimensionsList(0))
intPageCount = iMulti.GetFrameCount(FrameDimension.Page)

Hdpi = iMulti.HorizontalResolution
Vdpi = iMulti.VerticalResolution
PF = iMulti.PixelFormat
CompressionFormat = GetCompression(iMulti.GetPropertyItem(259))

Return intPageCount

Catch ex As Exception

Return 0
If Not IsNothing(iMulti) Then
End If
End Try
End Function

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
