Hi Andy,

The Adobe Update Manager is nothing to worry about, it's just checking to
see if there are any updates for Adobe Acrobat or Reader. I imagine that
it's the new User Account Control feature in Vista that is blocking it every
time you boot up? You should be able to adjust the settings so that it
ignores the update manager.
