I archive all my .dgn files as .pdf because not all users of the drawings have microstation. As I have acrobat writer, I select Adobe PDF as my printer, but I also belive that microstation has a built in PDF writer, accessible by selecting 'Bentley Driver' instead of 'Windows Printer' from the print dialogue box.
