Hi, new to manipulating PDFs... I am currently working on manipulating pdfs by replacing text and re-aligning the text object after I alter its contents... I have successfully managed to replace the information in the text object but I was curious on how the whole Text matrix is calculated / used to align text... I'm trying to right-align the text object but from what I've read so far it is my understanding that you have to recalculate the flow on the whole page? Please note that I'm not using any libraries I am dealing with the direct Post-Script... Any information on the basics of the Text matrix and document flow would be helpful, thanks.
