I use Word 2003 to create elaborately formatted and branded online help with Java scripting and bookmarks for new software development. The Word docs are meticulously structured, with properly inserted Section Breaks, etc.
With Acro PDFMaker, footers often fail to convert properly, even when no links, urls, or fields (other than page numbers) are present in them. The problem is seldom present when I use the PDF Printer, but then no bookmarks are produced.
I've found a few conditions that can sometimes cause this, such as spaces that do not display properly as "non-printing characters", but trail beyond the margin.
Does anyone know of other possible causes?
