"there was an error while trying to parse an image"

Received this error while trying to reduce an existing A3 image to A4 I managed to convert another 6 from same batch with no problems but this particular one won't reduce, A3's were converted to Acrobat PDF from Autocad, something which I've done countless times over the years. Can someone please help with this problem? thank you
