Occasionally I need to post PDF files to web that have been created in AutoCAD. Today I have had many complaints about one in particular which has valuable information in it. The file is not HUGE (2,530KB), but it takes forever to download over the web. (The browser goes blank, says 'done' but the PDF doesn't actually show up till a few minutes later -- if you think far enough to leave it open after it says 'done'.) Can anyone offer tips for compressing these files? They only need to be visible -- no need to retain the CAD layers or anything. I've tried compression softwares in the past, but have never found anything with enough impact.
