Topic: Watermarking PDF's

I'm working on a job for a customer, the client has scanned documents into a JPEG format in colour, i am converting the document into monochrome using image convertor plus, then I need to place a watermark onto the document, Acrobat 8.0 has the ability to do this and i must say it's very easy to do, but.... i need the watermark to sit behind the scanned images, Acrobat is doing this by changing the opacity of the image, when doing this the text it has covered is appearing lighter than the text it hasn't touched. The sample the customer has given me that was done by someone else is perfect having the watermark sat behind and the text sat on the top with no lossless information.

Can someone help me please, this is taking me quite some time to complete.

Thanks in advance.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
