Thanks for the bad news... I tried changing the RGB colours in a text editor, which worked, but apparently it was a bit naive to think that I could just plug Pantone colors in there. Do you think that maybe I could generate EPS instead of PDF files and change them? They look less complex, at least there's no xref table...
