It's very hard to know. While browsers tell every web server what versions they are using, no such information is available for Acrobat/Reader versions (even before you look at the many non-Adobe alternative PDF viewers). All that can be counted is downloads, and Adobe do occasionally disclose total counts. However, Adobe are likely to do this only for P.R. reasons, and even with accurate statistics it's very hard to know how many people are using stuff they downloaded long ago.
