Recently I have been encountering a problem the second time I try to create a document using "print to Adobe PDF" I have a database that creates reports. I have been using Acrobat 6.0 for several years to produce these reports. Last year I thought I solved the problem by deleting the ACR*.TMP files but now its back and I can't figure out how to solve it.
Here is my setup: fresh install of Acrobat 6.0 with with 6.0.01 patch. Win XP with all current patches, 50gb of free space on C: drive and 190GB of free space on the network drive that the report is created on. Here is the error message:
%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%

%%[ Error: invalidfileaccess; OffendingCommand: showpage ]%%
%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%
The first time I run the report is works just fine. The second time I get the error. Sometimes if I use another file name, it will work. Sometimes not,
Ideas?
