I found this topic in the archives, but not an answer. I am having the same problem. I can also add that while waiting for the dialog box to appear, the task manager shows the PDF pogram as "not responding". Windows 2000.
"I have a problem with printing PDF files (only). After choosing File/Print... print dialog appears after 1-2 minutes! There is no difference between AdobeAcrobatReader or other software (FoxIt). My Windows Process explorer didn't show any special CPU activity after during this action. On confirming print with OK on print dialog, printing on paper has normal speed.
For other types of files print dialog shows up imedeately.
What should I do to speed up print dialog? "
Thanks for any help.
