I am wondering if this is a known bug or if there is a workaround for it. I have tried it on several systems XP, 2000 and Vista and using Acrobat 8 Professional and 9 and get the same result.

If you create a fillable form and put less than three text fields on it "Highlight Fields" is not available. This is also true if you put any number of check boxes, combo boxes, or any other field and no text boxes. You can put 200 check boxes on a form and the "Highlight Fields" option is not available until you put one text box on the page.
