Just want to know if this is a known problem.
We create a PDF with Office 2007 (Word or Publisher - save as PDF). If we double-click the PDF it opens fine on Windows XP SP2 or SP3 in Acrobat Reader 7.08, 7.09, 7.1, or 9.x. But if we put it on a web server and click on the link and it opens in IE6, IE7, FireFox 2.x or 3.x, it crashes Acrobat. Same if we Email the link and open it in Thunderbird.
Seems clear that the Acrobat plug-ins fail.
It is not all PDFs created this way, just some. They do contain Photos and uncommon system fonts, if that matters.
